Testimonials "These ladies are so clean with their set up, from the exam table paper that covers the zero gravity chairs, to the bathroom, to their COVID table as you walk in. In addition to the above, after years of acupuncture, I feel comfortable recognizing their treatments are traditional. No questionable needle placements. Overall, I feel safe and properly taken care of." - H "Very respectful and professional staff! My back pain is well below a 4 now, and feels better after every visit. I have recommended 4 friends today! I am so happy I found this place! Unbelievable difference in my mood and pain levels" - WS "I was pleasantly surprised! I wasn't sure I would like the community setting but it's still quite private and the staff and doctors are very knowledgeable and courteous. I've had pain in my arm for over a year now and it got better after the first treatment. They make acupuncture affordable for just about anyone. Thank you, Community Acupuncture!" - SR "I never thought that acupuncture would work for me - for over 10 years, I suffered from hives - doctors did not know why - I was not allergic to anything - it was a mystery. The last bad hive attack was a year ago and I decided to try acupuncture. I went to a private Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM) and thought they were great, but I could not afford $65.00 to $100.00 per session and I needed more than one treatment. I heard about Community Acupuncture Albuquerque and decided to try it. I am so glad I did - I was able to get treatments and still be able to put food on the table for my family. I feel that I can continue with my treatments and the best part is I have been hive free!!! I am also having some other areas worked on and have seen improvements. I highly recommend Community Acupuncture Albuquerque; both the DOMs are very good. The place is very relaxing and it is kind of nice being in a community environment - I always felt so alone in the private rooms. I have recommended them to my family and friends who are being treated there too! I give them three thumbs up!" -TS "Acupuncture with Community Acupuncture Albuquerque has helped my arthritic thumbs immensely. Now, I have no pain, don't need to wear my splints, and can even open jars, etc. which I was unable to do because I had no strength in my thumbs. "In the past several weeks, I have had a severe allergic inflammation in both eyes from using a new foundation lotion. The itching from it was almost unbearable even after using RX's prescribed by my doctor, so I have had a couple of weekly acupuncture treatments and the terrible itching has begun to subside. These are just two examples of how acupuncture is helping me and I continue to have it on a regular schedule throughout the year because it has helped my 82 year old body in so many ways." -RM "I used acupuncture for my arthritic fingers. They do not hurt any more. I am still using acupuncture for my knees and back and am getting improvement." -LR “Community Acupuncture has realized a dream of mine to afford preventative and integrative therapy, which I have found personally to be more effective than relying on allopathic medicine alone. The treatment is always relaxing, which supports my immune system fundamentally. The specific points addressed seem to magically bring relief from my ailments of the moment which have included: anxiety, hot flashes, insomnia, herpes outbreaks, back aches, elbow pain, locking thumb, belly aches, symptoms of cold and flu. Thank you, Nityamo and staff. I confidently refer anyone who has health issues to you. “ -SJ "Thank you so much for all you have done for me. I came to you very skeptical and have had a complete about-face. You have helped me more than Western medicine has ever done and I can never thank you enough. This picture (of a kitten totally blissed out!) is a reflection of how I feel after every session." -KM "We are writing to express our thanks for all that you have done for us. For the first time in more than a year, T is beginning to feel human. He was able to get by on only 1 narcotic pain pill yesterday (half in the morning and half at bedtime) He was not restless in his sleep from opiate withdrawal. His iritis is healing faster than it usually does. "Yesterday, T felt well enough to go to the other building in our complex to watch his STL Cardinals play baseball. (We got to have a "date" out of our apartment). Normally, extra activities wear him out, and he is lethargic the next day. However, that is not the case this morning. T is happy, optimistic, and he looks better than he has for some time. He is singing your praises. Before we found Community Acupuncture, he was beginning to feel like giving up. "I am also benefiting from my treatments. The deep depression has gone. The anxiety is at an all-time low. Since T became ill a year ago, the anxiety at various levels has been my constant companion. My feeling that everything was hopeless has gone, and I am healthier too. I danced this morning with renewed interest and enjoyment. I want to start making greeting cards again. I miss my father, but it is getting easier. I am dealing with T's long illness better than I was able to. I could not have gotten to this point without your help. It took some time to get to his point, so I appreciate your patience. Acupuncture, like Chiropractic or Massage is physical medicine, and takes more than one treatment. :-) "For all of this we say: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. May you both be blessed with good health, abundant happiness, and many auspicious blessings. Thank you for letting Acupuncture be available and affordable to us. Albuquerque and your patients are so lucky to have you. We truly believe that Acupuncture is a huge benefit for so many things, Sending you virtual hugs and gratitude," -DF & TF "J has been going to your acupuncture clinic and it's been great. He needed it and is doing much better. He loves that he can make appointments online, that he can go in evenings and weekends, and that he is feeling better. He went yesterday morning for a recovery session after bike. I really saw a difference in how he was doing with his back all weekend and I know it's because he did the acupuncture before-hand." -MS
"I first visited Community Acupuncture in November 2012 after a series of severe respiratory tract infections. I had never had acupuncture before and didn't know what to expect, but found myself enchanted by the peace and quiet of the practice as well as the knowledge and gentleness of Nityamo and Selah. Every treatment left me with a sense of empowered calm and optimism. As for the respiratory tract infections, I have not had one in over a year. In fact, I have had no illnesses of any kind, despite working in offices where everyone else was sick. I have now made acupuncture a part of my personal preventive health and wellness program." |
